Literacy in Troup County

Happy Wednesday from Lewis and Broad. We have a full house in the studio today! Special guests Kim Myers, Director of Get Troup Reading, Gail Gordon, Success by Six Coordinator, and Nicole Kennedy, TCSS Parent and Family Engagement Coordinator, join us. In today's episode, Kim, Gail, and Nicole share what each of their respective areas/organizations is doing to advocate for children and literacy in the LaGrange community. In looking at Get Troup Reading's website, "...the 2019 Georgia Milestones Assessment System testing, 35% of Troup County third graders are reading below grade level."
